CHAP Agri-Tech Centre: Strategy Development

CHAP (the Crop Health & Protection AgriTech Centre) is a catalyst of applied agri-technologies to help nourish a growing population sustainably while delivering economic, environmental and health benefits to society.

CHAP build networks to understand industry priorities, develop innovative solutions and translate them into the field to ensure market adoption.

Founded in 2016, CHAP is building momentum, and wanted help in the development of a new strategy to take advantage of emerging opportunities.

The Brief

What we did

Liminal worked with the Board and Executive Management Team to conduct individual interviews and group workshop to develop and define the purpose, mission, financial future and options for CHAP.

Then we explored the relevant criteria that are relevant and important, rating current focus of activities against desired approach. Lastly we synthesized the new strategy and identified and developed several projects to help realise this new vision.

The new strategy has now been implemented and has already led to new funding and partnerships.

An extremely positive process. The energy and engagement right up to the last was great!
